Solenoid valves

Electromagnetic valves are used for two-position control of the flow of gas or liquid media - opening or closing the flow of the medium through the valve. The control element is an electromagnet, while the control signal is electric.

The construction of the valves consists of the main - valve part, which is the valve armature, formed by the body with the valve cap seat, and the electrical part, which is the control electromagnet with a coil with connectors and a plug for connecting voltage.

The armature of the electromagnetic valve (EMV) is equipped with two connection sockets with an internal thread for two-way EMVs or three connection sockets for three-way EMVs for connection to pipes through which the controlled medium flows.

Solenoid valves can be made as directly controlled, in which the electric part of the valve controls the flow of the medium directly through the core of the control solenoid for valves with smaller clearances and at lower working pressures of the medium, or they can be made as indirect, in which the electric part of the valve controls the flow through the valve indirectly by controlling the difference of the pressure of the flowing medium on the main cap of the valve part in the case of valves with larger clearances and at higher working pressures of the medium.
