Sliders

Knife sliders are used in the handling of liquids, where there is an increased probability of the occurrence of solid particles, with loose substances and waste water, where their primary area of use is also. Due to their compact dimensions and relatively low weight, they are ideal for use in confined and small spaces. Most often, it is possible to meet knife shifters in the applications of wastewater treatment plants, various closures and discharge channels of dams, water reservoirs and storage tanks, in the transport of bulk materials, in the mining industry, the chemical industry or in enterprises for the processing of paper and cellulose.

The construction of the sliders can be with a rising or non-rising spindle, which is then followed by a mechanical connection to the electric servo drive. The temperature limits of the fittings are at +90°C or +125°C depending on the type of EPDM / NBR seal. Wedge and yoke sliders can handle even higher temperatures, up to +500°C.
